AN OPEN LETTER TO ANUPAM KHER

AN OPEN LETTER TO ANUPAM KHER

Dear Anupam Kher Ji, I have seen you in 100’s of Movies and liked it all, like the passion and dedication and your skill to get in the skin of any character thrown to you. You are probably one of the few finest actors who aren’t cocooned into a particular type. I liked you as a Daddy cool in “DDLJ”, as Prakash Rathore- a super Cop in “A Wednesday”, as Ashok Pradhan- a sincere and secure father and a advocate in “Ziddi” and I also liked you as one of the most deadly villain of Hindi Cinema- Dr. Dang.

I love the ease you have played it all and how perfectly you synced into all the characters you played with utmost honesty but these days when you appearing on news channels I can’t see the same ease, I sense a absolute desperation to prove your point and to rise above all as Neutral by doubting everyone’s intention who so ever is returning their awards.

Well I do believe that My Mother land is very well tolerant and the constitution gives every-one right to express their feelings.

After every award been returned you came up loudly and more rhetoric every time doubting their intention and with your Selective Questions (I said selective for a reason) of 1984 Sikh Riots, Genocide of Kashmiri Pundits.

These all are indeed a matter of PANG for all Indians and any such act shall will and must be criticized and the guilty must get punished.
I was not even born when 84 riots happened I just grew up listening about them before every election and after every heinous crime conducted by any group or people such as “DADRI MOB LYNCHING.”

Is it necessary to scratch the wound every other time when it starts to heal?

And if it is so Kher Sahab then my concern is when you ask these novelists, writers, film makers that where they were in 84 in 98 of Sikh riots and Kashmiri pundits’ genocide why they haven’t returned their awards then, how selectively and comfortably you avoid 2002, not even once you mentioned the massacre of 2002.

I haven’t heard you mentioning 2002 for once. The fact of the matter is that the same group of these “INTELLEGENTSIA” hasn’t returned their awards even then.
Are you selective on issues on targeting this group of people returning awards?
Why not a single word from you on the massacre/ genocide in 2002?
Why you didn’t raise your voice in 2002 with the same rhetoric, by then you were a well-established and household name in India. So why you dint choose to conduct a march then against the turmoil in India?

I heard you on one of the news show that “You are proud of PM, you are proud of PM when he speaks.” Well one should surely be proud of his/her Prime Minster.

I do the same as well but at times when my PM starts speaking as a “Pracharak” of a particular group and not on behalf of entire country as a PM, I get confused am I listening to PM of the nation or someone who is still in mood of elections and representing just one party.

Did you also sensed the same pride within when the PM said -“These leaders are making a devious plan. They are conspiring to take away 5 per cent reservation of Dalits, Maha Dalits, backwards and extremely backwards and give it to a particular community” in his famous election rallies.

Can you please explain me on which parameter of development these thoughts fits in and how practically it’s possible, could you also please explain me the Maths behind.
In the same breath you also said and emphasized that you are giving all these comments as a “NEUTRAL”.

Anupam Sahab with all due respect I would like to say when you doubting intention of every other person returning awards or raising issue and their concern or questioning the leader of the party your beloved wife belongs to how your neutrality will remain untested.

When you calling every other person who so ever is protesting an “Opportunist”.
What you’ll call then the sudden rise of Mrs. Kher in politics and from nowhere in politics to a BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Chandigarh for General Elections, 2014 and now an MP.
Isn’t that an opportunistic move? Or as you say “Sab apni apni dukan khol k baithe hain personal/ political gain k liye” isn’t this also a Dukan then for personal/political gain

These days I am seeing my beloved Actor more on TV News Channels post his wife became BJP member i.e after 2014 Lok Sabha Elections often on issues defending a particular party his wife belongs to and sound more of like a party’s spokesperson then a neutral one.

I haven’t heard that Mr. Anupam Kher is conducting a march in support of FTII students.
Is it so because FTII students are on strike against the decision of the Party you in Love with and your better-half belongs to?

Are you also not selectively picking the issues? Considering the scenario how can we say that you are Neutral Sir?

There is a saying

When You Point a Finger at Someone, There Are Three More Pointing Back at You”

In the end I would like to say my country and the countrymen doesn’t need a “SAEED MIRZA” or a “ANUPAM KHER” to tell us whether my COUNTRY is “INTOLLERENT” or “TOLLERENT”
Yes INDIA is a very TOLERNAT Nation and that’s the reason a person like “Gajendra Chauhan” gets appointed as chairman of FTII and we tolerating that.

Would like to urge my countrymen please do not get influenced by the many voices of such Actors, Politicians and at times news anchors too, they are all running their “DUKAN” and so selfish that for their personal gain koi “KUCH BHI KAR SAKTA HAI……” and “Selectively Neutral”
-          I know aksar log naam mein mazhaab dhundh lete hai lekin main apko apna naam bataunga, kyunki “I AM AN INDIAN FIRST” and everything else comes much later.
“JAI HIND”
